Great effort from Jack with the goal- line clearance effort, especially after being shoved in the back.
Madrid are good enough to beat the dippers.
Difficult part will be which team the dodgy official's will favour.

I just meant at any other club with these resources constantly failing in the the biggest competition in Europe he’s up the road. I’m not saying I want that to happen but he’s very lucky what he’s got here. The club worship him and are very fair with everyone apart from their working class Manc fan base. I started watching City when Swales was in charge. We were a big club then and he rinsed us for every fckin penny, took loads of money from club and gave us nothing in return. I'm absolutely gutted from last night but I've seen five relegations in my time supporting City. By the time Sunday comes I'll be over last night and ready to go. Think you should find yourself a different club to support

Just think how lucky we are to even get the chance to compete at this level every year, if it was easy then it wouldn’t be half as much fun. We’ve got a mental block on one competition out of four, I’ll take that, but I’m certainly not going to become one of the self-entitled mob who have followed certain clubs over the last 30 years. I recall when this tournament was well outside our reach, I never yearned to win it, rarely watched it to be truthful, the only desire was to be good enough to be in it.

Enjoy the games in isolation, the many wins to the rare losses. CTID, wherever and however we play.

There was something about the manner of last nights defeat that brought back the memory of the bad old days I am just after getting a flashback to Stoke!!

The one big positive is that we have a PL title to play for and after last night we should be laser-focussed to do just that. We start every season these days having to win either the PL or the CL as a minimum to consider it a very successful season, we can still do that.

No excuses now, we have 4 games against mediocre opposition to get the job done.
