Two of us tried to dissuade Bill from giving up his undergrad course for Yes. Ha ha.

The Monkees were all in fact Monkeys apart from Davey Jones who was a tall upright metal box used for storage in workplaces up and down the country.

Davey Jones before finding fame and fortune with the Monkees was a jockey and rode a winner at Lingfield.

Fact. When I were a lad in Failsworth, there were three lads that I knew all within spitting distance that went on to play in very well known bands.

Mike Smith from the Canadian band Sandbox is also Bubbles from Trailer park boys.

I saw the Trailer Park Boys at the Apollo a few years ago. Absolutely hilarious, and was lucky enough to see them accompanied by the brilliant John Dunsworth character Jim Lahey. Bubbles rendition of Liquer and Whores was a particular highlight.
