Post match Discussion Thread City v Villarreal

Congratulations on your result tonight, haven't seen the highlights yet.

As regards our game in Naples we should have won it but it was a scrappy, poor game tbf. A draw was a decent result for us considering we have two home games left and seven point so far.
Napoli were poor and we even scored their f##king goal for them. They didn't have one decent attempt in the entire game and had obviously settled for the draw long before the end. Gomez missed a pen second half but the laser pointers in his face didn't help.
I'd have settled for a draw before the game so 1-1 will do.

Cheers BB.

See you in December!

Thanks for that. We were hoping you'd win tonight. We'd settle for second place in the group behind you to be honest.

Some on here will wish the match-day thread will be deleted as some of the posts on there are embarrassing!! Some were even hinting towards Mancini out!!!

We played awful, but we played on until the end and won...so, well done lads!!

CTID!!

The match thread is never any different mate, if we are not home and dry within the first 20 mins the hysterics start

Never really been on there before. If that's the case, think I'll give those threads a miss.

It's unrealistic to think we'll play fantastic every game.

There were threads on the bluemoon forum a few weeks ago asking when was the last time we won in the last minute of the match...well there you are!! Fantastic and I'll say again, well done lads!!

Kolarov had a top game and Yaya had good spells. But Kolarov vs Nani/Young pace. And Yaya not tracking back. Different story against Utd

Totally against my perceptions of him before we got him but his best position is an attacking midfielder, in fact I wouldn't play him anywhere else.

Erm this was a thread about yaya but has been merged. Wasn't necessarily a thread about tonight.

jrb you k***!

Left 5 minutes early. first time ever. Just got home and logged on. Sergio! Goal! :-)

Serves you right you part time........(fill in as appropriate)

If you looking for the score on the laptop you're a ****!

left the pub with 30secs to go fkn ragin 3 mins later the world is a better place thot they could have played till easter an still not scored
they shud be trashing teams like that tho alls well etc
Can anyone translate that shite.
The gentleman departed from the licensed premises with half a minute of the scheduled playing time to go. He was not best pleased with tonight's developments. 3 minutes later, the planet on which we live had markedly improved. The gentleman had formed the opinion that the team could have played until next Easter and not have scored the winning goal. He has also formed the opinion that City should be comfortably beating teams of that calibre. In the end though, he has formed the opinion that all is indeed well.
lol very good
