Post match thread : Borussia Monchengladbach away CL

Joe and Sagna were excellent.

Kun is having a poor spell but hopefully that penalty will help.

We looked dreadful first half but were quite good after conceding so credit to the team for that.

In fairness after conceding no one hid and we dug in.

Think that will be a huge result for us.
 
I will take that but we are not clicking at all. Notable mentions to Hart (man of the match) Fernando, Sagna and to some extent Navas.
 
The euphoria of a last minute snatch and grab should not mask over the fact that were were pathetic for 70 minutes tonight. There was a few weak personal performances but yet again it's more the style and the system that's to blame than the individuals. It's very clear to me they go on the pitch with no clear instructions. you can call it "creative freedom" if you want going forward but you can't call it anything other than amateurish defensively. For the 4th game from 5 now, serious questions need to be asked of the manager.
 
Delighted with the win but papering over the cracks! No disrespect to borrussia but they should have been beaten professionally without fuss tonight. Defending was awful and dinho left to do the work of two again!

He was something like his old self tonight.
The magic is slowly coming back.
 
New we'd get goal second half and once we scored there was only one team going to win far bette second half, but the defence is a worry with our two main player out injured..
