Both central defenders out and Otamendi settling in and we go there and attack so only to be expected.

I was hoping for a draw, in the end we got a win having shown a lot of character which we haven't always done in this competition.

I bet the City fans who went out there are really happy.

The only positive was it was a win !!!!
Brian Horton could organise us in Europe better than that .
 
Well, we learned a big lesson and perhaps it takes a near-calamity to learn it: play tight and control the midfield away in Europe.

we played our best when Fernando was on and we began to wrestle back the middle (it helped that Borussia were spent by 70th min as well).

In the 96th minute, we lose the ball from our corner and they almost go the whole length of the field. Then Navas and Aguero fuck up and instead of just taking it to the corner and killing the game against an exhausted BMG they contrive to lose it and BMG go on the attack again. No wonder Pellegrini was shaking his head at the end. He's probably as confused as the rest of us as to how this team goes from low to high so quickly.
 
Good saves from the BMG keeper but well done city for the win and also JH for the awesome save get rid of WC hahaha WC get flush away son!!!
