If you'd told me a few weeks ago we would've ended this game without kompany, toure, and silva, and come from behind to win, I'd have laughed in your face. Bravo to the team not falling apart. That penalty call for BGM was shite. The breakaway at the beginning of the second half for BGM was 5 yards offsides. City had early chances and their keeper made some good saves. I'd say after 2 games, 3 points is about right for the combined 2 performances. I think we all knew after the draw that the Sevilla games would decide our fate...
Great to come back from being behind , first time in a long time.
Maybe some of the players read this forum after all.
Happy to be kiss of death any time and as such I will go for Newcastle win on Saturday.
Overall a poor match in terms of quality and Joe has to be congratulated again as we floundered for 60 minutes I am happy for him that his display was not in vain.
To be honest though we miles below the standard required of this club and the owners expectations and it depends on the players ability to snap out of this slumber as to whether MP will get a stay of execution.
The signs are not good but lets hope if we get all our players fit and ready we can do some damage in the premiership this year as the sides expected to be challenging haven't set the world on fire so far either.

We've bemoaned the games we've lost 2-1 because of the chances we've created and not converted. I'm not counting Borussia's chances 'cos like ours they didn't go in, and that's what gets chalked up at the end. That's what wins matches and I don't give a shit about playing expansive, entertaining, football. In Europe results on the night, in the group stage, are everything!
