I didn't go yesterday .
But boy am I glad .
I knew this game was going to be tricky .

Alright, alright! Smug doesn't become yer!

I'm even smugger and I was at the match ----saw the starting team put £5 on 'boro as a belt and braces bet at 50 to 1 so £250 up . Not bad for a bad day at the office

50/1? What did you have to get those odds? I only got 10/1 for them to win. Not bad obviously. Paid for my takeaway last night anyway!

Given we are the Champions, any random 11 from the 25 squad should be able to beat, or at least give a good game to, a team like Middlesbrough, who are, with all due respect, nothing more than a good Championship side.

We didn't just get beat, we didn't deserve anything more, and we could easily have lost by a bigger score. Something is very wrong. Especially as it comes of the back of a run of indifferent performances.

Frankly, it reminds me of the bad old days under Swales when the Kippax used to sing What the fuck is going on?

We seem to really struggle when a player picks the ball up in midfield and runs at us, boro number ten did it a lot and so did Corzola or whatever his name is at Arsenal, shitting it with Hazard coming up!

That's a little disingenuous to Borough, they played very good football and didn't come to park the bus. There are several teams in the CL who are more than capable of beating any PL team over 90 mins. You seam to have this perception also that we have a very strong squad

M62 last night and in the land of Boro today

Took a mate with me yesterday 'boro season ticket holder' who works for me, a day to remember for him, stopped on the M62 on our way back so bumped into loads of Boro, although still giddy about the result most comments were about the facilities and fantastic they were, got chatting to a group and they all said their views of the 'money' had totally changed after seeing the set up at the stadium and that it wasn't all about the players but the infrastructure around the place.
Today the guys I live near who are Boro fans their take on the game, the ref saved them on more than one occasion but the man of the match was their keeper, non of this we came and teached you a lesson rubbish. Overall we didn't take our chances and their keeper had a blinder. We move on, and no doubt I will be e turned the favour with a trip to the riverside.

Yesterday was abismal. Bar the first half attacking was poor second half, passing it to the corner flag every pissing time. Subs were awful. Why take of navas and jovetic who were causing problems for lamps and nando? Anyone disagree with me you are wrong.
Caballero had a shocking game. Thought Boyata was decent and unlucky to not get on score sheet but time will sort that. Midweek trip to play hamburg was stupid .
All in all worst performance ive seen for years.

Another point I dont know if its been brought up but the obvious fact we miss toure too much. Was it a good idea to sign bony who will also be leaving every two years to go afcon? Seems like a bad choice in hindsight
