Post Match Thread - City vs Palace

To be fair. Ugly f-ckin match. Pardew seemed to be trying to get away with as many fouls as possible. Nacho really saved our bacon there. Loved what I saw of KDB, He is going to be really dangerous when combine with Kun and Sterling. Navas is completely worthless at finishing the ball. That should have been 2-0 easy.
 
Our defending has been brilliant, though they gave a few chances to Palace.

Navas is horrible and Nasri just like he was last season, ineffective. Although at least his shot got us the goal.


Magic moment for Kelechi. Got us all three points on a weekend when rivals will be dropping their own points. How does he feel leading us against Juventus? Because Bony doesn't appear to fit in this system.
 
Will take 3 points in any form.
Just don't know if Palace are actually that solid or we were really just not clicking all game.
 
Well done to all the players, the kind of game designed to frustrate and annoy by the opposition tactics. Glad we managed to get the points despite shit ref and dirty tactics
 
That is the clearest sign that we have what it takes to be champions again this season. No Aguero, Silva or Sterling - our stellar attack decimated. Plus our manager has a brain fart with his team selection. Yet we still win in stoppage time.

Oh, and Chelsea's title defence is now over in September. Literally over.
 
3 away wins at Everton, palace and west brom - impressive. 25 more wins from 33 games and we have done it. Giving ourselves a great chance.
 
To lose those three players and put in a battling performance like that shows great mental strength, we might have left it late but this is the most satisfying result so far for me, brilliant stuff.
