Post Match Thread - City vs Palace

great result and so pleased for kelechi

first 25 mins with two main strikers we looked poor...kun gets injured and we end up with 5 midfielders and we looked better (thought we clearly missed silva dn sterling but so would any team)

Thought despite his knockers nasri played well but i thought naval was again awful and that is ignoring his glaring miss and Bony is still yet to convince me he is worth a starting spot. (i think with KDB who looked quite good that navas get a to less game time)

nice to see Yaya try and set up Kelchi right at the end as you know at 0-0 yay would have just slotted that past the keeper.

great stop from Hart as well at 0-0 from that header

Wasn't a great performance but to come away with 3 points from there is amazing,De Bruyne looked silky on the ball and well done Nacho, on we march!

Superb result, It really is. I was nervous going into the game and those nerves intensified after Aguero went off, but we're a different animal to the team that surrendered their title so easily last year. Those lacklustre performances are a thing of the past and this lot seem as up for it as ive seen in a long time.
Big, big 3 points. Well done boys.

From BBC..............................
The 18-year-old Nigerian striker had previously played one minute for Chelsea, in the 2-0 win over Watford.
He came on for Wilfried Bony with a couple of minutes remaining on Saturday and was alert enough to tap home a close-range rebound after Alex McCarthy spilled Samir Nasri's shot.

I am sure he played for City.???????????

Big big big 3 points

Great moment for itchy nachos

Hopefully the day will be finished off nicely by the red lion drawing with the dog and duck

Made up with that. Terrible preparation with all the injuries to our best player Silva and Sterling and then the assault today on Kun as he limps off. We re-shuffle and bring KDB on who looked good and then our 18 yo academy graduate writes himself all over the headlines. Take a bow, Kelechi lad. Another win, another clean sheet. Harty in great form. Keep it going City !

Haha, come on now, we know all the headlines will be about Jose and the "big" match this evening. We might get a brief mention on the inside page somewhere. Not that it matters ;-)

3 points against an in-form at a difficult ground, plus the injuries to our key players is an amazing result.
