Post Match Thread - City vs Palace

Lesson learnt for pellegrini. Bring the kids on when the old heads are out of ideas!!!!!!!! Pat roberts next up...

Just thought, we now want Chelsea to WIN their next league match. Who'd have thought that!? Chelsea at home v Arsenal next. If Arsenal drop points there and we can beat West Ham, we're in absolute dreamland, if we aren't already.

Wow! What a moment!

Lost it like I did for the Dzeko goal v WBA a couple of years back!

To grind out a win with our 3 best players missing is some feat!

Still no goals conceded and still the 100% winning streak continues!

This is a game we would have lost last year......I think we struggled today BUT....a win is a win! I'll take it!!;) GO CITY!!!!!

Good win but dont get too carried away, like my rag neighbour reminded me this morning we have a shite defence, a midfield that is too old for the rigours of the premier league and we're fucked if Silva or Aguero get injured. :)

Won't be long before our back four reverts to collander mode! We really have to prize SmallThing away from The Swamp!

I thought I would be rueing Navas's sitter in the pub later but fair play, we earned a hard fought win there. Just hope Aguero will be OK after that tackle that nearly took his teeth out, dirty ****

Very physical game and a well deserved 3 points. Fantastic for Kelechi to score the winner. It must be a dream for him! Kev played very well and he has a superb eye for a pass. It's just a shame that a lot of them went to Navas lol.

Hope Kun is ok. He was seemed ok on the bench so I'm hoping it was just a slight injury. Mind you the Palace player tried to take his leg off.

really happy for Kelechi, great goal. was starting to think it would end in draw. not the prettiest match but worked hard and got the win. Navas though he didn't score does help keep the right side from collapsing/ pulls defenders out wide, very important along with his speed to break through and create space for the rest of the attack.

BBC radio manchester..."Navas miss one of the worse ever".........I always try and look for a positive in his play but today showed up the weakness in his game.....lack of final ball and no goal threat.....

Great win. Last season we would've lost that game but we had to grind out the win and we did just that. The defence was solid yet again, Kdb was excellent when he came on and I'm delighted for Kelechi. The injuries are obviously a big negative but hopefully they will make it for The Juventus game, I personally don't think Aguero can make it, but it sounds like Sterling and Silva weren't picked for precautionary reasons, so with a bit of luck they can make it.
