Probably. Have you watched England recently.
The point is, he does not show enough technical ability. He doesn't pass well, he doesn't beat a man other than with his pace, he can't shoot and often runs off without the ball. His first touch is suspect and he misses absolute howlers.

But, he's young and English...

Look mate, I hope I'm wrong. But I'm not seeing a top player. I cannot see what he brings that Patrick Roberts or numerous other youngsters wouldn't.
Disagree. Sterling is one of the few players in the England team who can beat a man. His finishing is unpredictable, but compared to players like Martial and Depay he's miles better.

Think it was Dzeko.
Edin Dzeko has admitted that it was the tough competition for places at Manchester City, as well as a couple of injuries, which resulted in him leaving the club for Roma on a season-long loan.

“I played less in my last year at City because they’re a top club with lots of players he said..
Should've stayed not that many players it would seem.

71 goals in 185 appearances that Bony better pull his finger out once fit..

It was an exciting game indeed and thought we played well, our finishing was piss poor but overall it was a decent performance, sevillia at home could crack juve up, stop expecting things like barca and madrid from this team and you,ll feel alot better

It pains me to say it but no way is he better than Martial.

Really down on confidence at present , lacking drive , awareness and motivation even it seems.

Losing Hart most likely now for some games and the fact Vinny will be out for at least another 5 games and doubts on Silva to come back in reasonable shape puts us in a bad position now.

I would have Southampton as strong favourites for this Saturday if I was a bookie.

I think one of the things he hasn't learnt yet is how to deal with teams doubling up on him, and it is something the best teams will do and if he can make that step and work on his finishing in 2 or three years I think he will be an important player for us. Not all players make that improvement, but I don't get why some a almost eager to write him off

We have Aguero, Bony, Kelechi, and Sterling can also play there.

As it is, because Aguero starts when fit, the other forwards don't play so it would be pointless having another forward unless we are going to change the way we play

Getting beat is sad, but I don't think many people expected a weakened City to do much better at Juve. They are not in the Barcelona or Bayern bracket, but they are in the rung below and always very difficult to beat at their place. Had we had Kompany, Silva and a fit Aguero we'd have been a different proposition.

MP said Nacho wasn't a striker and ineligible for Champions league.Sterling isn't a Striker either..
