No, he went LHS, and De Bruyne went up along or behind Sergio, and Delph signalled it as soon as he came on.
Yes, thinking about it he was over on the LHS, whenever he was on the ball, though to be fair they were sitting fairly deep then and we're breaking more than controlling the midfield. I think what we lacked more than anything was a plan B we just didn't have the players to put on to have a target in the box to hit crosses at, or the players to cross it either.

I'm afraid plan B tonight, was plan A on Saturday, and at the point Fernandhino was taken off, we weren't desperate for a plan B anyway, we were on top, and Juve were dropping deeper and deeper, should have stuck with the nights plan A.

I just hope that plan A on Saturday, is not tonight's plan B, with Cabellero in goal, otherwise we'll struggle more badly than on Saturday.

Did you doze off after they scored? Joe pulled off a string of good saves in case you missed them. Defensively we were far from OK.

No I did not, hence why I said ok. I didn't say we were brilliant defensively did I? They could've made it 2 easily from morata. Anyway, onto the next one.

That's the one I didn't get, taking Fernandinho off, Sterling for Aguero I can see the reasons for, it will take him a few games. I actually think if Bony was fit he'd have started and we'd have got something from the game.

Frustrating game but nowhere near as bad as the last one.
Definitely not great. Defence was wide open again at times.
We were passing it quickly and it was promising in the first half but that deteriorated towards the end.
I'm not sure why Yaya didn't touch that pass from Fernandinho which led to their goal. Anyway De Bruyne and Fernando got passed too easily.
For me it was alright considering our injuries and we had two clear chances to score. Think Fernandinho was one of our best and I'm still pretty confident Sterling's finishing will improve.
Glad that Navas wasn't injured. Unfortunately Manuel said that Joe could have a hamstring problem or back pain. That's the last thing we need.
Adding to my annoyance, here's a few "gems" from Jake:
"If City go out to one of the big three is there any excuse?".
Juve are a "good little team".
Almost begged the papers to make a story of Yaya swapping shirts at half-time 'though it was pointed out the Juve player asked him for it.
Lastly they showed 7 teams we could face if we finish 2nd and he said there was a 50% chance we'd get Bayern, Barca or Real.
Prick.

Having read this before watching the game I was really not going bother however having now watched it I do not think we were as bad as many on here are saying. We missed chances to score and should have drawn the game away at Juventus a very difficult place to play. We are missing key players and it's hurting us but we have to keep going and dare I say it need a bit of luck

No disrespect to Juve but we made them look a lot better than they are.

And I'm also tired of hearing this 'key player' bullshit. That has been a constant for the past few years, our 'key' players are made of fucking glass.

We didn't play badly, we were the better team, though they had the better chances, at the 60th minute we were on top, with Juve dropping deeper and deeper, then our best and most dynamic player was taken off, and we went to the same 2 CM players we had on Saturday, this was compounded 9 minutes later when we stuck a young winger up front.

2 clean sheets in 15 games after tonight. Very worrying.

As I said if we cannot keep clean sheets we have no hope in winning any trophy of any sort this year.

Time for Willy to step up and demonstrate why MP has trust in him in Hart's absence.

Better still I would prefer we defend in a way where he isn't exposed as much as Hart has been for much of the season.

All this hype about attacking football and playing a certain way is meaningless if you can't keep the ball from going into your own net.

We are miles away from winning the champions league, so just concentrate on winning the prem till such time we have the manager and players to do so
