Juve showed us why they are a top team in Europe and why we are not. How good they were defensively yesterday. How well they protected their lead. "SOLIDITY"- something we do not possess....Sorry to say but I don't think we will win anything this year

Decent enough game, could have won that on another day.

The only people I see really pissed off are the people who think Juve are shit because they're from Italy and haven't watched them in 20 years. They didn't get to the CL Final for no reason; they're an absolutely quality team and man for man are just as good as us.

1-0 away isn't the worst result in the world.

Now there's your dose of measured sensibilities, feel free to go off on the traditional Bluemoon outrage. Fun fact, we actually have a spike of guests come on our forum any time we lose because you lot have a reputation in the wider football community of being laughably ridiculous when a result doesn't go our way.

I'm sure tonight will be the night that proves them all wrong though.

Spot on Damocles, thought we played alright and on another day would have got a result.
1st half controlled the game on got done on the counter.
2nd half they parked the bus and tried counter attacking but we still could of scored 2 or 3 goals with Sterling missing a shocker.

Honestly don't think we were that terrible against Juve, we had our chances but squandered them. But really, the defence need some serious work. We aren't gonna go anywhere further with such a leaky backline.

There's a big difference between a team that looks good on paper and a team that plays well together. let's stick to what works and what's sensible , and if that means dropping some big names do be it. I've watched us play out the same mistakes and broken tactics over and over. Drop yaya, pick a CB partnership and stick with it, and for gods sake no 424 against the big boys!

Yet another game, yet more chances squandered. With our defence all over the place we can't afford to miss chances and that is why we lost this game. Sergio looks miles away from fitness and no-one else seems capable of scoring. Bony is also seemingly going to be injured 50% of the season.. Another striker in January please, we should never of sold Dzeko.

pogba is the future, time to getting looking down the back of the sheikh's sofa for a few spare mill
bossed the midfield with ease, the difference between the two midfields

There were times where I was wondering where our centre halves were, specially that effort that clinked the post post in the second half. The goal was really soft, aloud too much time for Pogba then Ottamendi was in totally the wrong position.

Why couldn't we do the simple thing of parking the bus? I think finishing first or second is irrelevant now as there are some good teams in both pots. I'd still imagine Pellegrini to get it wrong who ever we get drawn against.

I don't think we were too bad. Get the feeling we're stuck in second gear at the moment, but it was a decent performance against a Juve that wasn't that great. Desperately need Silva back.
