Perhaps when we next sign a player, as well as the medical we can roll a ball to them and see if they can hit the target or manage to cross a ball without hitting a training dummy. All joking aside though, as shocking at the performance was today, its less of a blow as most of us know the title was lost with the corrupt officiation at Pool and then backed up with one of the most corrupt set of officials performance in the merseyside derby. Even if we won today, there is no way on earth we would be allowed to win the title so this is now a good time to try something different, give youngsters a chance and plan for next season. Just heard the Pep interview and apart from the bit about the club issuing a statement about the moron supporter in the corner, all I really got out of it is, he just said yes it was bad but we’ll be better next season.

cancelo will end up a top signing imo but angelino should have been brought back and sold straight on!

Pep just done the post match interview on Bein...main point he said at the end of one question was "we will be much better next season"

Astonishing and uncorrected tactics from Pep in the first half - our pressing line far too deep. Tbh - our defensive shortcomings needed to be addressed in the summer. Fern was key in his former role and was irreplaceable, solving that problem needs a new CB and LB at least. That's hopefully the last we'll see of Angelino - just not our level. Stones is also struggling to justify a starting berth, even ahead of Otter, who is clearly in decline. Devastating day, chickens coming home to roost well short of Christmas.
