Post your guilty secret here.

I'm in the same boat..... ask me what my first gig is and i will happily tell the world it was Stiff Little Fingers in July 80 aged 17.

However, one December night when i was probably 11 or 12 my parents dragged me and one of my other brothers to some theatre (suspect they couldn't get a baby sitter.....) to see Peters and Lee, with support from Mike & Bernie Winters and a very young The Nolans.
That fucking Peters and Lee hardly had any songs and sang Welcome Home twice.
Kin hell mate was that St Georges Hall ?? was there too..gobbed on to high heaven..At that time lived in Leeds but went to school in Bradford..next you will be saying you have been on Eggheads.Should I Wait and See ??

I'd love to think that your mum took you to see them at the Ardri. A proper family club...
Tameside Theatre in Ashton if I recall correctly, think my next visit was 6 or 7 years later to watch some heavy metal band whose name escapes me but whose drummer wore full 'merican football kit, including the helmet. They were supporting Budgie who were, to my tender ears, awesome
