The ironic thing is, if Sterling wins the Player and/or Journo gongs it will be funny, because he isn't the CIty POTY! No offence to Raheem, he's been great, but the City honour SHOULD go to Bernardo who has been absolutely sensational this season.

Vinny won the league award in 2011/12 and iirc wasn't in the top 2 for the club award, Aguero won it and I think Silva was second.

Not sure why there is even a debate. The journalists all pretty much decided it was Van Dijk about 3 weeks into the season when it became clear that Salah wasn't going to be a contender.

Team of the year should be interesting. Eddie has been far better than Allison but will not get in.
Laporte, Bernardo, Fernandihno, Raz and Kun should be absolute shoe ins.

Why is Laporte not even in the discussion ? Been the best defender for City and only 2 cleansheets less than VVD.

He'll be in the team of the year for sure.
