Beer is the same price in Prague city centre as it is here now.
Take a tram or a walk for 20 minutes away from the centre and you will get pints for 40/50p. And nice beer as well. You can always head back to the centre after 5 or 6 pints which will sting you to the tune of £3
I went last year and had a ball.Depends what sort of bars you are after. We mainly went in the rock bars which were cheap as chips.A couple had live bands on.One even had a Chilli peppers tribute band on singing in czech!
Word of advice though watch for the taxi drivers they are feckin crooks!
I can back that up about the taxi drivers, don't take a long trip with them, you take your life into your hands!
If your wanting the naughty bars, then you can't go wrong with, darlings, atlas, goldfingers,or captain nemo's.Enjoy!
the best club without traveling much (walking distance) is on on the river at the side of the charles bridge! well i say the best, its eye opening! over 5 floors!! i dont know its czech name but it claims to be the biggest club in middle europe (middle earth) interesting....

I went 3 weeks ago, wear comfy footwear!!!!
Great city. Better than Barcelona in my opinion. It's not all drinkers either, and didnt see a single lady of the night when I was there!
AVOID THE CASTLE.. it's really not that great. Petrin has a better view and a bar halfway up the tram.
off there soon, could anyone tell me about airport transfer to the city centre.is there a rail link? is taxi best? would like suggestions for a top eating place if that is ok.
We got a taxi.was cheap enough. Can't comment on any eating places.we ate in our hotel which had three different restaurants.I would just be careful if you consider dining anywhere in the old town square.I think you'll find if pricey there.
