Marchisio is quite overrated.

If anything Marchisio's underrated.
Been a key player for Juve these past few seasons.
Capable of playing as a defensive midfielder, a central midfielder or a number 10.
Also get's his fair share of goals.

It's vital we get off to a good start in the group,and that means beating juventus at home,regardless of how we perform a win under the belts will ease pressure going into the second match,a draw or loss will multiple the pressure ten fold,a win is vital...

Rooney's got a better goals per game ratio for his country than Messi and Ronaldo. David Healy looked world class for Northern Ireland.

If we go by the premise he's boss for Juve then it's night and day where Italy are concerned.

Marchisio is perfectly fine for Italy (albeit in poorly performing Italy teams over the past 4 years). I'm not sure where you got the impression that he's been poor for them - he's the first name on the teamsheet in midfield these days, ahead of Pirlo, Verratti and De Rossi.
