Fucking joke of a bench. Give some kids a run out ffs.

For those that don't listen to the podcast, Rob Pollard said that he interviewed Pellegrini two or three weeks ago and asked him whether he would play any of the EDS kids if City had locked up second spot. Pellegrini said no.

It was evident that none of them would make the bench when they played a full strength team against the rags a couple of days ago.

For the record Rob Pollard said it would be unforgivable if Pellegrini didn't have one or two on the bench.

The kids played yesterday, I can't imagine the fitness people would let them play again today even if Pellegrini wanted to. (which he probably didn't) They've got an end of season tour coming up to show their worth with the first team.

It's no excuse, United's bench today is full of youngsters that were rested from yesterday's match. No reason why couldn't have done the same

Not one young player onwould be playing for the title instead of a dead rubber! bench, very poor really. Glad he hasn't reverted back to the 4-4-2 though, please stay that way next season pellegrini!.

Agree completely, the one real thing to take from this season is that Pellegrini has final found a formation that works. i still struggle with the fact that every single fan i know was crying out for the formation months before he started to use it.

As far as the youth angle goes it is pretty shit but completely expected, glad to see we are sticking with a consistant back 4, i was expecting him to tinker again after last week.

Agree if the dozy sod had twigged what we all knew years ago we wou

Disgusting from Pellegrini. Not asking for all them. One or two on the bench would of suffice. Instead we have 3 strikers on the bench.

Joke, not even a youngster on the bench.

They had the derby yesterday.

Would you rather they'd lost that?
.

Sure. Ihenacho playing today would have been more important than our reserves losing to United reserves. Who cares.

Unless we pay more, which I'm sure we probably do, can't imagine any 16-18 year olds kids that are advised by anyone with half a brain would come here, at least with current staff. It would be a waste.

The over reaction is huge.

It's not an overreaction, it's about the 15th time he could have invested in the future of the club he isn't going to be at in the future but didn't.

He hasn't got the best interests of Manchester City at heart which means he shouldn't be our manager
