Fucking joke of a bench. Give some kids a run out ffs.

Yeh, why not turn it into an EDS run out at £45 for a match day ticket. I'm sure it will be appreciated.
Don't be so precious. If one youth came on for the last 20 minutes with us 3 up would you be shouting "I didn't pay £45 to see this lad".

Not having one kid involved is an absolute disgrace

Sacked in the morning and good riddance.

For fuck sake - we won the double last year and have just come 2nd!!

Don't give a shit if we won the Champions League and went unbeaten all season, I don't want him sacked because of his results which have been adequate but because he's out for himself first and foremost; the same reason why Rekik is walking out on us.

Is the primary purpose of CFA to produce players to sell for £2-3m a piece? Kind of like a talent farm. Produce and sell. Rinse and repeat. Because we sure as hell don't seem interested in them playing for Manchester City.

Reikik will never be good enough for us. If pelligrininis oi for himself that means he wants to win as many games as possible. Fine by me. If the kids are good enough they will make it.

Utterly ridiculous over reaction.

I take the argument that a city team should be picked to win a match. But if the manager can't find room for one youth team player in the squad today in a match where there is nothing riding on it in respect of points when will he ever play one of the youngsters. We are not really going to appeal to any talented youth team player at this rate

I am watching Southampton warm up. They are a big strong well organised team fighting to finish 5th. To play kids against them would be foolish for so many reasons.

Probably should have benched a few young lads but not going to make a big diff.

Reflects on MP's youth policy tho.

Anyway looks like Yaya's last game.

Hart for the golden glove. Defend defend!

£2-3m plus. It's a farm. If we get lucky and we produce a gem, all well and good. The greater the overall income the more we will be signing the world's best. I for one cannot argue with it.

As I said he doesnt want to upset regular players, international players.

If we put two youth players on bench today that means Bony not even in match squad + Clichy. Or another two...

Now as we rebuild the squad we have a chance to change it and to include youth with not signing direct replacement to all leaving players and leave some squad places up to the best youth players. But thats a risk of not having two better international players for every position.

Balance is really important when you build the squad we dont have that balance certainly not in terms of youth players.
