Pre Match Thread: League Cup Final v Liverpool

Having watched them tonight against a pretty poor Augsburg, they're nothing special, their pressing game ran out of energy after 30 minutes, we need to keep the ball, and counter attack them, if we do, and all our players are up for it, we'll win.

Only the "if" to worry about then.

They're definitely a bit of a bogey team of ours, as we've only win 4 of our last 18 encounters (post-takeover). Our overall record is pretty dire too, only 44 wins out of 172 games played:

Not that it should really influence Sunday's game. This isn't a vintage Liverpool team, and hopefully we'll take encouragement from last night's performance. It will be tough though. I just hope Pellegrini has learnt lessons from the 4-1 drubbing at our place. Having Kompany and Otamendi, rather than Demichelis and Mangala, at centre half should help.

Perhaps Vinny should pin up the headlines after the 4-1 defeat , Clyne said it should have been ten , and skirtel said he wished he could play us every week , no team talk required , as usual the dippers getting carried away , they have not learned anything from 2014.
I agree MP should put the quotes on the dressing room wall then say "what's your response?", to the players then leave it to them.

Same team bar hart and clichy then
