They're beatEn atvanfield this season. however, in 6 games they've drawn 4 there. bobby needs to go on the attack, it can be done.

This ^^

They have been dire against teams at home that respectfully are nowhere near as good as our squad. We should win this comfortably, then again they do have a nasty habbit of turning up for big games.

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

I think with the rags dropping points today has maybe helped our cause with Liverpool, not as much pressure for a win. Yes we play great football, but still can't win the most important games when it matters(it's only a mental thing). I think we will go out tomorrow and play free flowing football and get a 3-1/4-2 win!

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

Anybody know the best City pub in the Romiley area for watching the match?

I am more than happy to take a draw from this significant test of our enduring resilience.

It's a relatively small pitch, which does not suit our beautifully expansive style of play, and in spite of their claims that we are the lesser of the two Manchester evils there is no doubt that their fans view our arrival like a Prestbury housewife would respond to a lottery winner from Wytheshawe moving in next door. They will be up for this, no danger.

They are a decent, hardworking team, and Adam is more than exceeding my expectations. That said Carroll and Downing are helping balance that little equation.

In a sense I'd love us to convert to our previous style of play, which is unusually cautious for me, but that's because avoiding defeat is paramount in this fixture.

1-1 for me and that would represent another rubber stamp in the evolution of this football club.

Not really, same width and only 4 metres shorter, don't think that will affect our ability to be expansive.

I see where your coming from but in my head it's more pressure as now is the kind of chance you must take. We could end up rueing tomorrows match come the end of the season if we don't.

It's defo a big match as i cant rest and feel like going for a jog or hitting the gym to chill out. Not gonna get much sleep tonight i doubt.

Fucking dippers

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

Can see us dropping points tomorrow, probably losing. Hopefully we can take a point but have to lose sometime - it's how we would bounce back from it against Norwich that would matter, if it happened. All hypothetical I know but just my feeling.

I've a feeling because they have dropped points we will, but I certainly don't think come the end of the season we would be rueing a defeat tomorrow - more that they would be regretting not beating Newcastle.
