I think with the rags dropping points today has maybe helped our cause with Liverpool, not as much pressure for a win. Yes we play great football, but still can't win the most important games when it matters(it's only a mental thing). I think we will go out tomorrow and play free flowing football and get a 3-1/4-2 win!

I see where your coming from but in my head it's more pressure as now is the kind of chance you must take. We could end up rueing tomorrows match come the end of the season if we don't.

It's defo a big match as i cant rest and feel like going for a jog or hitting the gym to chill out. Not gonna get much sleep tonight i doubt.

Fucking dippers

Why don't u just do a couple of press-ups instead, then think about the way all our competitors in the prem play, then think about our lovely football this year! Sweet dreams! LOL

Haha alas your to late i opened a bottle of jack, you didn't stop me in time and i hope you feel guilty and bad about the abuse my poor liver is now taking :p

I am more than happy to take a draw from this significant test of our enduring resilience.

It's a relatively small pitch, which does not suit our beautifully expansive style of play, and in spite of their claims that we are the lesser of the two Manchester evils there is no doubt that their fans view our arrival like a Prestbury housewife would respond to a lottery winner from Wytheshawe moving in next door. They will be up for this, no danger.

They are a decent, hardworking team, and Adam is more than exceeding my expectations. That said Carroll and Downing are helping balance that little equation.

In a sense I'd love us to convert to our previous style of play, which is unusually cautious for me, but that's because avoiding defeat is paramount in this fixture.

1-1 for me and that would represent another rubber stamp in the evolution of this football club.

Not really, same width and only 4 metres shorter, don't think that will affect our ability to be expansive.

Really? It's always seemed smaller whenever I've been there. Maybe it looks small because of the restricted views and wooden seats in the Main Stand that have less legroom than Ryan Air. That ground is a fucking shithole.

Well, expansive it is then.

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

The script is set up for us to lose so that the rags stay in close proximity to us! We've torn up the script more than once recently but I'm worried too, can't really see us getting more than a draw. Liverpool are gonna have one of their cup final home performances with their new-found small club mentality where they show up against us/rags/Chelsea/Arsenal but not against Swansea/Norwich type teams.

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

Up early this morn to go for a walk, then make tortilla, and watch the match with the misses.

I have thought the possible inputs and outputs through, and read this and many other related threads completely, and I have come to the considered, humble, cautious conclusion that...

We are going to run them about the pitch like 13 year-old lads with a slightly over zealous former League 2 club captain as their manager.

We'll win comfortably 0-3.

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

I'll take a draw. Pool will come out with cup final intensity. Carroll will play his annual City blinder.

Would be ecstatic with a win of any kind.

I have edited for accuracy.
