predictions for tomorrow?

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

At kickoff there will be 23 men on the pitch and 2 just off it, and a lot more sitting around it. It may or may not rain, but there should be some light. YNWA and Blue Moon will be sporadically sung throughout the day, with hopefully the latter ringing out more frequently. It will either be a draw or one of the two teams will win.

Christ man, a bit of balance would be nice, your attitude is arrogant and redcafeish.

:p

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

I will reserve my thoughts until I see what our team selection is for this game, however I don't share the fear or pessimism of some in this thread - and it's nice having a manager with the attitude of Manciti; at least I can say we're not going to set up shop like Stuart Pearce (which was one of the most awful games I've seen us play away)

I guess im the same mate...almost. It is just this match is another definer for me. In respect that we did the rags and doing the dippers at Anfield would be the other main one in my book. The fact they do that annoying "we turn up when we want" shit does worry me though.
There is no denying even with the sqaud they have that they can put it all together once in a while and i hope they do but that we paste the fuckers anyway. Then they have no room for wriggling when we watch rawk for the impending meltdown.
I never knew about rawk etc until 5 months ago now i go there instead of irc or 4chan for lols, and thats saying something.

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

A thorough spanking and red cards for Nigel and Mario are well overdue, so I predict Liverpool 4-0 City...although 2-1 is more likely.
For those about to accuse me of undue pessimism, just have a read through the pre-match predictions for the Napoli game on the Matchday Forum. So many of you were confident that City would win. I'm just trying to add some realism to proceedings as some City supporters are getting too cocky for their boots.

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

For some reason I expect Dzeko to show up.
1-3 City, with Dzeko scoring 2.

They will play it cautious knowing what we've done at OT & WHL.

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

Mancini will play the kind of formation that he SHOULD have played in Napoli, which will make it a tighter game than some might think. However, if Carroll plays and they pressurize us high up the field, we might struggle, as a big centre forward (dead balls and corners) is our biggest Achilles heel, and we don't like it up us.

That said, if we play tight across the midfield, with SIlva in behind Dzeko, I think we can open them up. However, we HAVE TO DEFEND FROM THE FRONT!

................................Hart
Richards......Kompany.......Lescott........Clichy
.....Milner......Yaya.......De Jong.............Barry
..................<<<<Silva>>>>
.........................Dzeko

Keep it tight in midfield, with Milner & Richards getting down the right (Milner backing up Richards when he goes missing) and Clichy getting down the left (with Barry dropping in). However, when we break, we need to attack them SMARTLY!

..............................Hart
...........Kompany.....De Jong.......Lescott
......................Milner...........Barry
Richards............................................Clichy
............Silva...........Dzeko..........Yaya

Forza Mancini.....but smartly this time, and we may even get a result.

However, it is setting up as a draw, isn't it?!

Re: pedictions for tomorrow?

A tough game no doubt, but look at our squad and how far we have come this season it is a game we should win, but not easily. Look what we did at the swamp and at spurs, we are so much better on our day than any other team in this league, so I expect City to win 2-1, but given scum dropped points at home yesterday then a draw would actually be ok today. In about 2 weeks we will have played 4 out of the other 5 in the top 6 away - if we are a few points clear by that time it will be a good first half to the season, with scum spurs scouse chelsea and aresenal all yet to have to come and play at the Etihad
