Premier League Champions Calculation

90 points would win it no doubt, it all really depends on what the big teams do against each other though.

Meaningless and spurious guff because your predictions are based upon a false assumption.

The results over the next 18 games will be what they will be. Last season is no guide.

Of course, if the point of this futile exercise is to give you a nice warm feeling, go ahead and indulge yourselves.

It keeps the masses busy Gillespie, speculation threads are fun though as you see one opinion that start a 50 page war.
Transfer forum, religion threads on to an extent political threads all useless but create hours of fun.

Maybe so, but dave_blue12 above for example, seems to be buying into it. Leaving that aside, there is at least one other poster above making predictions based upon past events somehow concluding that's meaningful.

Past results can only at best act as a guide to future performance, they cannot be used to predict individual outcomes.

That was the only point I was making. But I do take TCIB's point it's fun to speculate, so I'm not being a fastidious prig about it. Well, I don't meant to be anyway ;^)

Calm down it's just a bit of fun !

I'm not buying into anything but it is interesting.

Just to cheer you up (you do seem miserable) here is the chart based on time, again courtesy of RAWK

Thanks. Cheered up now!

I suppose it's what you'd expect as a prediction given that Arsenal obtained more premier league points in 2013 than any other team.

Needed to be Champions - 84
Points to be dropped at home - 5 (1 defeat, 1 draw)
Points needed away from home - 28 (8 wins, 4 draws, 1 defeat)

Not much room for error!

I can't see us going away to United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle and losing only one of them and then losing no other away games at all. We will lose more than 1 away I feel.

Realistically we need a perfect home record and the games we must win are likely to be Chelski and Le Arse with Liverpool being a must not loose game

Rags we will beat them also forgot Spuds whom are definitely going to be decent

Its going to be difficult
