What's this expecting the referee to overturn the original decision bollocks, just because he had to go over himself and watch? It can be used to back up his original decision. It's as if to say the 'VAR bloke' instructed the ref to overturn it.
If the var official asks the ref to take another look, they might as well dispense with the next stage of him viewing it. Just give the goal ffs.
 
It was so obvious that Jota couldn't reach the ball so he deliberately ran into the keeper.

That's what happens when you slow it down and only show part of the incident, the referee doesn't get the full context and it looks worse than it is.
