Premier League Games 25/26/27 October 2024

Fair play to Cole, would we of sold him had pep seen this type of player, probably not.

Some takes on here are wild though

And pope should of saved that
This. Most of us are happy he is doing well.

But we aren’t blind to his shortcomings, and neither was Pep. He has shown on many occasions at Chelsea why he would have been unlikely to be anywhere near as productive with us as he is at Chelsea (primarily because he wouldn’t have the same role where most things go through him and he has the freedom to play as he likes, or where he isn’t expected to defend with any real conviction).

Some of the takes on here or just nonsensical. He is a great signing for Chelsea, particularly because they can sell him on for a substantial profit, but there is very little evidence it would have worked out if he stayed with us.

City don't keep players who want to leave and the buying meet our valuation.
Palmer was one.
I just love seeing all our ex-academy players doing well in this country and all over Europe. Shows we have set things up correctly beyond the first team.

If City had the freedom of the pitch like other teams we’d have EDS players doing what palmer is,unfortunately we don’t get that luxury against teams so palmer in our team for the most would be nullified..

I’m over it ?

Hence the second part. Calm down

Bernardo wanted out before, we never sold him
Yeah because a) he was an established first teamer b) he had years left on his contract and c) they were trying to buy him on the cheap.

Me thinks if any club would have stepped up and paid a fair price, we would have sold him with managements blessing.
