I just love seeing all our ex-academy players doing well in this country and all over Europe. Shows we have set things up correctly beyond the first team.

As do I.

In fact, I have been pointing that out regularly recently, as we have many, many ex-City players absolutely ripping up trees elsewhere right now.

And most would have not had anywhere near such an impact if they had stayed with us, hence why claims they would make little sense.

I’ve seen the light. Gutted we let Palmer go.

I know he’s their main threat and he’s allowed to do fuck all the rest of the game, every attack goes through him and he’s a bit greedy.

But what a brilliant player he is.
