I tried resisting the temptation to post but here’s my thoughts atm.

I think we are playing some really good football and I am excited by the promise of our young team however as many of you rightly point out, we are only 15 games in and much could happen and change in the months to come.

Lets be realistic though, City have a much stronger squad than us and rightly, are still favourites for the title. Jesus is out for 3 months which is a big blow for us and Nketiah has yet to prove he can cover for him (despite a good finish today). City also have greater experience than our young team which will be a big advantage on the run in.

Frankly, we need to strengthen but it remains moot whether we will despite the usual this time of the year transfer speculation.

Our aim is top 4 and given where we are now, it’d be a bitter pill were we to fail in achieving that. Actually, I’d also be a bit disappointed if we didn’t actually make top 2.

Anyway, I hope you all had a good Christmas and wishing you an almost happy 2023 ;)

I hate Spurs for 81 and obviously u****d and have a dislike for Klopp and the plastic scousers so if its not us hope you do it.

Arteta seems a good man, like Fergie one game away from the sack.

I think complacency is Citys biggest problem, Phillips and before him Mahrez coming back lardarse worries me, it indicates some are not as focussed as they should be.

Playing good football and bagging the points while you can. As you know, the test will come in a few weeks when we're halfway through the season and you lose a couple of games, then maybe get another unwelcome injury or suspension, then we'll see what Arsenal are made of.
I hope you and Newcastle get 2nd and 3rd, but, if you finish above City, you'll have deserved it. It'll be great to properly ruin the old order - and for us all to strengthen again next season.

Really? They're on a roll now and momentum is building every game. Kind of like what Leicester did who went on to win the league. It wouldn't surprise me if Newcastle won the league, TBH. Howe has instilled a winning belief and strong unity in the squad and i can see them winning the league cup if we don't win it.

Yup, but I was hoping we would have had the league wrapped up early when I saw the dippers were out of the race but looks like we are going to have to grind it out again.

Makes winning the UCL aswell as the league very difficult this year - hard to go all out for both particularly in this crammed year.

Everyone's in the same boat with regards the crowded season and we've more strength in depth than anyone else.
