Clever move by Arteta, putting Oleks in midfield.
Yup, but I was hoping we would have had the league wrapped up early when I saw the dippers were out of the race but looks like we are going to have to grind it out again. You mean not good for the heart ..
I don't give up, just stating how it looks to me right now.Seriously? Over half the season to go, and you're hoisting the white flag? You don't remember last season? Or the 18/19 campaign? Yes, Arsenal are playing very well. It'd be silly of me to suggest otherwise. But we're more than capable of putting together a run of a dozen wins on the bounce. I'm not sure Arsenal are. Also, they've only won one more game, and lost one less than us (one less draw than us). Having played a game more than us.

Of course, you're perfectly entitled to your opinion. I just find it a bit odd that someone can seemingly have given up so early in the season.
As I said, you're perfectly entitled to your opinion. And I can see why you might think the way you do. However, we've won 6 PL titles in the last 11 seasons. Only two of them were won "easily" (the 17/18 and 20/21 campaigns). 3 of the other 4 were won from behind, and the other one (last season) was won with the scousers having reeled in a 14 (?) pt deficit on us, and breathing down our necks. That tells me that the psyche at the club is strong, and that "chasing" doesn't frighten us.I don't give up, just stating how it looks to me right now.
it dosnt look good, but should look a little better after wed, the plus side is its still in citys hands win the games and were championsI don't give up, just stating how it looks to me right now.
Chucking it in on Boxing Day though? I am more than happy to acknowledge a good team at any time. I’m criticising the people who are giving up on what is, both statistically and evidentially, the finest team the premier league has ever seen after they’ve played 14 games…….I don’t think it’s flapping to acknowledge that a very good very hungry young team with an equally talented hungry young manager who have a big lead at the top are in the driving seat for the title.
We haven’t hit the heights of the previous two seasons yet and the age of some of our most influential players coupled with the unique physical strains of this season have sown seeds of doubt in the minds of more cautious blues
