If it comes down to GD then we will miss out but im still confident we will win it by a point or two
Palace did the same thing but was largely ineffective.Watch the difference with how Brighton set up against us to how they did tonight.
Wide open tonight and pack the defence against us.
If it's not us it certainly won't be The Rags, which makes it a decent season. If it's The Arse they'll be unbearable until next season starts; if it's The Dippers they'll be insufferable for the whole season, as they are every fuckin' season.Nah Dips don't time waste although both sets of the fans are sanctimonious
This was proven in the CL semi-final second leg in Madrid a couple of seasons ago, we were leading with a couple of minutes remaining and never feigned injury once or time wasted, ultimately our honesty was our demise, as soon as Real went in front via the penalty in ET the ball was never in play again for more than a couple of seconds without them going to ground.I agree, as much as I still think their approach was beneath a club trying to win the league (and at times quite cowardly). Which is why I wasn’t among those seeing the result as an immense failure on our part.
But I am also not convinced Arsenal playing like this is going to lead them to lifting the trophy in a little over a month.
And, if it doesn’t, they’ll then have to come to terms with losing it whilst embracing anti-football in many of their matches in the run-in.
Perhaps I am just a snob, but I don’t think Pep could ever be convinced to adopt the tactics of Mourinho and Dyche to try secure silverware. Not even Mancini did to win us our first trophy in decades.
I think he would rather lose than play turgid, cynical football. I am sure some would argue that to be one of the few flaws in the way he approaches the game.
But I see it as a testament to his love of football and his respect for the players and fans. He wants to entertain and inspire. He wants intricate beauty to be the path to glory.
Call me his acolyte.
That’s really funny - you got one like from a bloke who loves Vladimir Putin

One thing is Dippers don't time waste to victory to another level in what the Arse continue to do so. They had a right go at us at Anfield after we gifted them a way back in. Arsenal didn't in the two games although they did yield 4 points out of it.If it's not us it certainly won't be The Rags, which makes it a decent season. Not a fan of this position. Unfortunately we have gave arse and dips a chance this season. Cant make up my mind as to who I dislike the most. The snidey twat Arteta. We played a key role in his training. Or the feral dips and Klopp crappy tour.I'm struggling to see where Liverpool and Arsenal drop.points.The rags are capable on their day but they're a bit of an unpredictable basket case. We can but hope.
