In 30-40 years time, whenever winning 4 out of 5 league titles is mentioned, it will always prompt the question “if they were so good, why couldn’t they win the CL?”When people look back in 30 or 40 years time I think that winning four out of five league titles at a time when the PL is widely acknowledged to be the best league and the hardest to win league in the world will be viewed as a greater achievement than winning one CL.
It’s not a dick measuring contest with Liverpool per se, it’s about establishing dominance over our closest rivals in this era. 4-1 is dominant. 3-2 with one CL each is relatively equal, hence my preference for the PL this year.

Since 1992 only the Rags from England havr won the PL and CL in the same season, they did it twice in 99 and 08, also won the FA Cup in 99 of course.Last team to win the premiere then go on to win the champs league? Because that for me is the right way to say your champions of Europe.
At the moment a team can finish 7th and win this bestest trophy there ever was.
PL > FA Cup > CL > LC.
Yes I’m old school but the CL is just not all that for me but I do realise it’s importance to the club, the owners and players.
