President Joe Biden

Biden is LUCKY that such a doofus is in charge over there, otherwise he'd not see nought but dust of his opponent.

You should check out Nina Turner (a real Progressive) and her view on 'half a bowl of shit'!!

It's so true!
He may well yet see nought but dust and as ever I bow to anyone who has greater knowledge or understanding of the US political options but...you know what's coming...But it's Trump!

It's a funny old game. I agree with you and I also agree with @Bigga
For someone who shuns conflict wherever possible I am putting myself right in the cross hairs.

Change is required I think everyone would agree with that. Radicals will be the loudest. Change can only happen incrementally, that, I feel, is where the major difference in opinion lies. @Bigga I think does not agree with me here.

You're correct, Doc.

It's been over 400 years to seek out equality as Human Beings and even in recent history we're looking at 60+ years since a Human of prevalence asked for such a thing, only to be murdered for such a 'cheeky' statement.

Dr King just wanted equality for his race AND for poor people in general and even mentioned UBI, which Andrew Yang has been lauded for.

It is extra irksome that Sanders fought for and was physically beaten in civil rights marches in the 60s. Does the MSM make this man a beacon for his 'more equality of people' fight? No.

Biden makes the claim he was also on marches and nobody can find such evidence, helped shaped laws to incarcerate Black people or 'Predators/ Super Predators' and the MSM make him out to be the saviour of the poor.

It irks me beyond belief.

Nobody else on here gives a shit about that issue and they'll say 'it's now that matters'. The very same thinking that landed the US with #45 in the first place.

Odds are high that Biden won't get any of his policies through as he "reaches across the aisle" (worked well under Obama, right?) and so creating space for another Orange Blimp to be more hard line.

Sanders made the error of not creating a third party when the iron was hot in 2016 as they would have absolutely forced the Dems to change.

Steamy windows?

You have me at a disadvantage as I can't tell if your knowledge is better than that!

The frustrating thing about him as that many posters agree with him about the import of change and have implored him to understand that it cannot happen THIS YEAR. This year the priority has to be saving the nation from an autocrat. A Progressive can’t do that. If people thought one could, Sanders would be the nominee.

And here's why (as I reply to myself):

BECAUSE THIS IS THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE USA IN ITS NEARLY 250 YEAR HISTORY NOT TO COMMIT TO A PEACEFUL TRANSITION OF POWER IF HE LOSES.

This is why not supporting Biden is fundamentally wrong. I'd argue its nearing a moral wrong. It's certainly an unpatriotic wrong.
