The penchant for reframing an objection to someone's ideology as an objection to the person's race or sex is a well known and tired trope. Thats why I pointed out the obvious.
So you are wrong. 1) He opposes her coz she's a liberal 2) I doubt he'll vote against her. Just that he'd have preferred someone else.
All that said, I wish her the best. I like her history. I wish she had been on a different appellate Court other than D.C. but whatever. You do what you can.
