Press Reports versus Fulham

I understand where Billy is coming from on this, because I felt the same way

- I thought we'd played well and deserved credit from coming back from a soft penalty at a ground where Fulham have been very strong in recent times (and had won 5-0 & 3-0 this season) ... but I read two newspaper reports yesterday and both were negative about City. One said that Mancini would be worried about how few chances his team were able to create and how they laboured for their win - like Billy, I was a bit surprised by that - we actually had 21 goal attempts away from home.

Yes, I know it doesn't really matter - but since it was 2 papers, plus MOTD hadn't really shown any of City's chances except the goals, I did think "Hold on a minute ..."

I don't bother reading match reports in newpapers. I also turn the sound off if I'm watching on TV because of the poor/biased views on offer. Don't get upset. I was at the match we dominated esp from around 30 minutes onwards. Yes, the goal came late but come the end of the season it's the result that counts, not how we won it.

And in other news, united were really unlucky and spurs desrved nowt.

Whilst a brilliant young Liverpool team (averaging 14 years of age) showed that the "Red Revival" is underway. (Hang on, wasnt this the worst start to a liverpool campaign in over 100 years on Saturday morning).

Meanwhile the new Barcelona of the EPL, namely Everton, played some of the greatest football Gollum has ever seen and took Southampton to the cleaners (god knows what theyd do to a really shite team).

In other news from the EPL, Peter Crouch is shite, whereas Darren bent is the next Ronaldo and Rooneys re roofing job is holding up well. Citys doctor has also left, which could wreck our chances in the CL as we were planning to partner him with Dzecko upfront.

Haha very good

The report in today's Times was ok. Ended with "They're Manchester City. They'll fight to the end".

Also baffled me mate. Live text on Eurosport said 'city have defended like fools recently, and once more they self destruct. Zabaleta completely misses a challenge on riise, allowing him into the box before he tugs his shirt'

:)

Because it's Fullham. Despite the fact that they only lost 1 match at home all of last season, City "should crush them"

it's unbelievable really. and given Riise's history of diving it's amazing how few of the papers are even mentioning that the penalty decision was questionable.

What did you expect?

They were desperate for us to lose or draw. Otherwise their "Crisis City" "Mancini hot under the collar" "Mancini loses dressing room in blast with BIG MONEY PLAYERS IN WAGES ROW" headlines went un used.
