Pressure is on Manchester City - Harry Redknapp

Having already accused City of trying to buy their way to the title, Redknapp went further by claiming he would be disappointed if he failed to win it with the financial backing to sign players like Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez and pay them upwards of £200,000 a week.

'To be honest, you would have a chance,' Redknapp told one journalist. 'I'd fancy you to manage them. You'd win the league.

'It's a different game when you buy players and pay them £250,000 a week. If I could have Tevez today … you ain't got to be a genius, have you? I would have been very close to winning the league. I'd be very disappointed if we couldn't win it with that kind of money.

I think it's incredibly disrespectful for Redknapp to talk about a fellow manager in such disparaging terms. He's basically saying anyone could do Mancini's job.

And you may not like Mancini's card waving Harry, but I suspect he doesn't approve of tax evasion either.

I hope we annihilate them on Sunday and 'Arry gets his own just desserts in the court case.

Notice how he's started to play down any thought of Spurs winning the league. He's terrified at the thought of any pressure being on Spurs.
I detest the spiteful old hypocrite and hope he gets sent down next week.
twitcher wants the court hearing put back till after the transfer window,as sky(and jim white) need him for their deadline day whoring, with his expected 58 signings in the last half hour, not forgetting the usual signing after the window closes.....

Harry has his court day on monday 23 of January. I hope justice is done and this man gets found guilty

Unbelievable, this level of sycophancy by James Lawton may take the cake for Spurs arse-kissing.

A pretty nauseating piece of journalism by Lawton. Thankfully his credibility is shot after his "United to sell Rooney" exclusive. A bit of a sad old piss can these days, by all accounts.

I'm going into total siege mentality for the rest of the season. And possibly forever.
