Priced out?

A poster mentioned people are happy to pay 150quid on trainers or 100quid in the pub or 100quid on gigs.

Big difference if I spend 100quid on gig tickets ( can't remember how much liam galllagher ).
It was a one off and more importantly I was with my lad.
Same if I go in the pub I am with my mates.

To travel 600 miles round trip to be stuck in traffic or slow moving traffic for miles. Every fucking motorway has road works or night closures at the weekend.
Some many cars have fucking headlights that blind you.
You get up at 6am back by midnight if your lucky.
You pay 70quid for your ticket.
You go through all that and you can't sit next to your lad. You are sat with people you don't know or tourist who aren't City fans.

We have done this journey for decades, its been great father and son times. The highlight was the villa game coming back to win the league.
Something my lad and me will always remember, the hug we gave each other after the 3rd goal was magical. Something we won't normally do but by fuck we did than.
I have a lovely big picture of us at the end on our wall at home.

Sadly it now seems this isn't possible anymore because we can't get two seats next to each other.

Football is about memory's and moments with friends and family. If I can't get that now there's no point going.

We won’t be getting relegated but if we did then then who knows who’s would turn up in the Championship. As wel as “glory hunters”, absentees could well include people who currently find midweek games too inconvenient.

It’s for individuals and families to decide what’s affordable, in tue context of their circumstances. There's far too much football
I doubt our new fans will fancy watching City v Plymouth Argyle on a Friday night.

Sounds like you love going to the footy.

They will adapt or leave.

The chances are we will still be playing against Liverpool, Arsenal and the rags next season.

IF and it's a very big IF we do get relegated it will kill football in this country because other fans of other clubs will know they are not allowed to compete, it will smash the idea that football in this country is a fair and proper competition.

I wont be following it at all if that's what happens, it can all get in the fucking bin.

Not being able to get two seats together is a big issue.
Never use to be, as a few have said, no point going if you can't be with your family.
Someone mentioned joining OSC, I'm in my local one and we have had only single seats this season.
The easy way to solve this would be to sell all season tickets next to each other and create a happy clappers section. There are often individual seats in between blocks of two or three. Obviously this would highlight day trippers when they aren’t there but put them up high 3rd tier of Colin bell where the cameras don’t go, charge them a fortune if they want as well!

It's going to be interesting next season, if, and that's a big if, City lose the 115 hearing.

City could be or will will be relegated to the Championship.

Let's see how our (new) support holds up. And what price season tickets and match day tickets will be to fill an expanded 61,000+ seater stadium at some point into next season.

The club has a lot of thinking to do about season ticket and match day ticket prices up to the hearing verdict, and preseason ticket sales.

Are the club still going to surcharge £150 for a Flexi-Gold 'Championship' season ticket?(for the new North stand)
All the glory hunters would be gone
