CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AWAY GAMES – TICKET COLLECTION POLICY
This season, there will be a change to the procedure for the distribution of general admission match tickets for our supporters travelling to away matches in Europe.
Under UEFA’s competition regulations, clubs are responsible for the allocation and distribution of match tickets, and ultimately the conduct of their supporters in and close to the stadium. Clubs also have to keep records of the names and addresses of all ticket holders.
To ensure that the guests purchasing the tickets are the ones who are attending the game itself, we require a declaration form to be completed by every guest travelling to the game, stating their name, contact details, travel and passport details. Ticket cannot be processed without a completed declaration form for every individual guest.
Once the declaration forms have been received, all general admission tickets will be collected from the city or town where the match is taking place, rather than from Stamford Bridge in the lead up to the game.
The collection point will be away from, but close to the stadium, and will be manned by members of the hospitality and ticketing teams from the day before the game until the match kicks off. There will be an emergency contact number for supporters to contact the collection team throughout this period.
Exact opening times and the address for the collection point will be communicated on a game by game basis.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REQUIRED
Every supporter travelling to the match must complete a declaration form, with their name, contact details, travel and passport details, which should be returned to the Hospitality team by the deadline stated for each match.
Customers who order two tickets or more in one transaction will be required to submit together the declaration forms for all customers who form part of that transaction.
However each form must be signed and certified as correct by the individual ticket holder. If forms are not submitted together, we cannot guarantee the match tickets will be together.
Once the declaration form has been received, each ticket holder will be sent a voucher with the details from their declaration form printed. The ticket holder will need to bring this voucher and their passport to the collection point, where the voucher will be swapped for their match ticket.
Tickets cannot be collected on behalf of friends or colleagues. Uncollected tickets cannot be refunded or resold.
