Prices for the away leg in Madrid SOLD OUT.

Note the date APRIL 15TH 2015
This was introduced last season after they had been knocked out of the champions league to be implemented for this season
The events in Paris mentioned, were not the terrorist incident, they refer to trouble on the metro, when a group of Chelsea fans racially abused a Parisian, when they played there last season and later there was trouble with PSG fans
Ha Ha. Just googled that to see what the date was before i noticed this reply

So Chelsea did do it for all games.

It was however enforced after there fans racially abused a train passenger. I would say it is because those who were there on the train, name did not match, name on match ticket ticket. The only rule UEFA have with this is they need names of who the tickets were issued to. City would normally do this with names of season ticket holder who bought the ticket

Which is why i asked the question 'which trouble in Paris' ! So we are saying Chelsea changed ticket collection policy because of that incident on the Metro...i find that unlikely.
It does however clarify that they have been using the system all season , as have Manure, and who's to say not a few more clubs around Europe. So why blame the new guy at City..isn't he just adopting the safe option , to save the club any penalties from our friends at UEFA

Yes he is. But it has been the policy with Man U for years, Chelsea introduced it after the racial incident. We introduced it after the bloke who brought it to Man U is now with us

At least Chelsea fans collected from a bar, hopefully we get similar in MAdrid!
The ticket collection point is as follows:

The Artist Porto Hotel and Bistro

Rua da Firmeza No 49

4000-228 Porto

Portugal

You may find it unlikely but that is why it was implemented.
I keep answering your questions, so could you answer one or two for me.
Why do the home supporters not have to wear a wrist band and collect their tickets from a hotel.
Are they less of a risk
And why does the individual who introduced the system for City fans, not insist that teams visiting the Etihad, have to do the same as we do.

PSG fans had to do the same but their ticket collection point was near where the away coaches park.

Interesting how this Chisholm guy is no longer a rag but the guy who brought the system from the rags - now that it has been established that he is a Blue!
