Prices for the away leg in Madrid SOLD OUT.

I will be going to Madrid anyway.I will probably have to watch the game in a bar and no doubt there will be tickets left that no one will be allowed to use.How can this system be working?

If we get 3600 tickets what are the chances of getting a ticket if your in the Cl cup scheme. How many people in the scheme, does anyone know?

It's a guess, but judging from the way the PSG tickets went then I would probably say there is a pretty good chance considering we only had 2,400 for PSG and 3,600 for Real with a possible expensive Final looming.

Why would there be tickets left that nobody can use? Won't happen but If there wasn't that much interest, it will go all the way down the points scale and eventually end up open to anybody with a seasoncard or citizens card. If somebody doesn't have either of those for whatever reason then they can have no complaints about not being able to get a ticket for the champions league semi final away leg.

Might be boring but it doesn't make it any less of a problem. Just because the vast majority have and do buy and sell on tickets it doesn't mean we should just forgive it and get on with things. I don't blame people for helping out others, i don't know anybody that would turn to a mate who's asked for a ticket and say "no, you haven't got the points to go" but it doesn't make it fair. which is why City bringing in this policy is great all round and we can only hope for a change that has a similar impact for domestic games.

heard it all now - forgive.

Get real.

Agreed: how about "points cheats" or "ticket stealers" if you feel uncomfortable with reality?

Another one embarrassing themselves.

Reality. It's a ticket for a football match.

My actual point is the use of the term whore which had for me pasted it's sell buy date now.

I wasn't defending him I was simply saying that despite the fact that he may need training in his customer liaison skills he might just have talents that make him suitable for his job.

I also highlighted the fact that you stated of him "

"but there is a way of dealing with the general public in a correct manner and by many accounts, he's fallen well short"

And you went on to call him a "Prick".

I made you aware of the irony of you calling him this and you went strangely quiet.........Not that you have an axe to grind or anything!

As I wasn't the guilty party who had "fallen well short" in his duties, I think I'm entitled to call him whatever the fuck I want without a hint of irony so you're talking bollocks there.

No axe to grind from me - plenty of respected posters on here have issues with him.

Hopefully City are negotiating cheaper away tickets for City fans, as the Real fans will be paying similar ticket prices like us at the Etihad. It probably doesn't work like that, but you never know.

I posted this in the ticket forum, but just to give you an idea , the cheapest ticket for Madrid fans at their ground is 80eur,this is if they are on a scheme so I expect ours to be around 100 - 150 euros http://www.realmadrid.com/en/tickets by the way, I am guessing and believe me I hope I am wrong

I've heard a figure of 20,000.

I think I read a piece recently that UEFA were guaranteeing 50% of the tickets went to the clubs. The San Siro is about 80,000, although it may be less for the CL, but 19-20K sounds about right.

Plenty more of the other seats would find their way into Blues' hands too. The thought 25-30K Blues in Milan gives me goosebumps.
