With that formula we are just pushing a problem 2 generations on when those immigrants then get older, or are we going to design a system where old people don't get old.

It’s better than not providing a problem down the line and destroying ourselves now, isn’t it?

I’m not sure no borders will ever happen, so it seems a pointless thing to get worked up about.

Business being global, whilst politics being national is the problem at the moment. Especially when it comes to them paying their fair share of taxes everywhere.

Maybe they should all pay taxes on the revenues in each individual country rather than at their headquarters based in tax havens.

My point is that if we don't what's going to happen to them when they get older after the population explosion? Pushing the problem of a longer living population into the long grass isn't the way forward.

Big business don't want more people in just to look after the elderly, they want people in to work their levers, and those people in 40 years time will need looking after by a dwindling demographic of young people.
