What a shame you turned it into an abusive reply. I have never come across a dictator who wanted the advantages and disadvantages laid out clearly and honestly before the electorate. I think you will find that this is what I meant when I suggested that I wasn't certain that some people would listen, regardless.

Very few politicians full stop want the advantages and disadvantages laid out clearly and honestly before the electorate. You think Corbyn was honest? Boris? Starmer? Every single politician will give you their version and it’ll always be one of sunny times ahead. And the tribal masses will lap it all up.

To be fair, anyone with half a brain cell could've predicted that given the amount of racial abuse that black players have been subjected to on social media previously. It was hardly crystal ball stuff from Barnes
