This immigration problem will sort itself out soon enough. 3rd worlders won't be busting a gut or a dinghy to get here when it's full of, and "run" by, 3rd worlders. It'll be just like their countries but cold.
RUSH don't agree ;)There’s nothing wrong with “helping the needy.” Indeed, many people share your resolve, but feel like “charity begins at home” and economic migration and asylum need a strong policy to survive over the long term.
I’m looking for that strong policy, not some “we’ve all got to do our part for the weak” cry from the well meaning.
Christians have been touting this “theweakmeek shall inherit the earth” line for millennia, but I’ll be damned if I’ve found any empirical evidence since the crucifixion provided strong evidence to the contrary!

Yeah, it could be one of those 'open' prisons - HMP Orchard, or HMP Strawberry Gardens.Maybe train them up to be fruit pickers or lorry drivers? Would probably help the economy a bit more than banging them up for four years.
I'm not sure if it's worth getting too triggered by anything the home secretary says. There is a clear pattern here - once or twice a month she throws a bone to the Tommy Robinson crowd that sounds dramatic, but nothing ever happens because under international law (as well as the terms of brexit') she can't do any of it.

A fair point, but I think she's just throwing a bone out there to distract from the fact that immigration rules will actually have to be relaxed to help with workforce issues. So the government never breaks the law?
Hasn't she already broken the law repeatedly at the army barracks site?
If she thought she could get away with it I think she'd do it without delay.
