Priti Vacant has a plan, a deal with migrants plan.

The government don't give a shit about these migrants one way or another and will be secretly delighted about how this is panning out. It fans the flames of the culture wars and their "efforts" to keep migrants out, even if legally overturned, earn them votes amongst their supporter base. And their supporter base won't be able to compute the fact that the party's core policy for 5 years has been to "take back control of the UK's borders" and this proves that their method never could. Great news for Patel and Johnson that the enemies of the people/activist lawyers overturn her attempts to get gunboats to these people or whatever. That will generate weeks worth of Daily Mail headlines and put 5 points on their dwindling poll ratings.

France is a safe country, so are all the countries of the EU, but they are only safe if you are an EU citizen.

It is the EU who have created the problem, because the EU is a Neo Liberal entity. It is as exploitative for a refugee/migrant as if they had stayed at home. Neo Liberalism exploits the poorest in society and refugees/migrants are the amongst the poorest.

This is historically inaccurate, brexit was always a right-wing libertarian project, for evidence of this you only have to look at the people that went from referendum party to ukip and ukip to Tory. The people that made up the overwhelming majority of vote leave and leave.EU were on the right. Daddy Rees-Mogg's book about the sovereign individual and Britain Unchained by brexiteer bastards in the cabinet.

To say it was hijacked by the right doesn't stand up to scrutiny, not only did they already have the keys to the vehicle, but their names and faces were emblazoned on the side of the bus.

Why did Corbyn reject Maggie May after talks in the Spring of 2019? They could have come to an agreement to push through a soft-brexit or BRINO. But then her government would have collapsed immediately afterwards without support from her own party, and she was only willing to compromise a little because she cared more about her party than the country.

This might as well be alternative universe stuff let alone alternative history. Lexit was never going to succeed because it had no support besides a few fringe left wing groups with no MPs, and a few old dinosaurs in the Labour party.

The stuff about the refugees is wrong too, Germany took in one million immigrants.

The EU is not simply about neo-liberalism, the most powerful member (Germany) is ordoliberal and has greater state involvement in the economy, regulation and strong competition laws, not laissez-faire hands-off free market fundamentalism.
