It will kill this administration eventually it will decimate the Tory Party but there is no way we just waltz back in on the same terms - we will have to accept terms we had exemptions from so on EVERY level the result of 2016 be we in our out has diminished the UK
It is sinister in that it will allow the government, ie the Home Secretary, to decide who is allowed to stay and who can't, and not judicial process in the courts of law.
A person who has been born and lived in the UK all their lives that has parents with dual nationality can have their British citizenship removed on the whim of a Home secretary.
It's a knee jerk reaction to the Jemima Begum issue.
It's got nothing to do with applications for citizenship in another country, the family could have lived here for generations, but it does go against the grain of the Magna Carter that has been the bedrock of our liberties for centuries.

Mugabe - China places like that do this shit and "we" condemn them - when people wake up and see the damage that is being done ( by which I assume enough Tory supporters simply die off through old age and the others realise - hang on I have dual Indian and UK citizenship - and hang on I can't just drive to my holiday home in Spain for as long as I want like I used to - and my local farm shop has closed down as 65% of their business was exports and its gonna cost me a fortune to go to Tenerife for a holiday ) they are fucked. The Tories got elected and began to fight a bigger rear guard action than Dunkirk. ( spoiler alert it failed then I know coz my Grandad spent 5 years as a POW )
Another way of looking at things is like the Reichstag policies in 1933.
It will soon be illegal to write anything detrimental about the government under the Treason Bill, it will be illegal to hold a demonstration under the Police and Crime Bill, and it will be illegal to rescue drowning people in the Channel, with all those crimes against the state punishable with long prison sentences.
My father and grandfathers fought against this kind of fascist shit decades ago. I never heard them utter a single word that was racist, and that's the honest truth, and yes, we all live under the same sky on a ball of rock travelling around the sun.
I have no doubt your ancestors, like mine, didn't spend their formative years fighting for their lives in a war and wanting the country to end up with the sort of right wing nonsense we now have masquerading as Parliament, but it has to be remembered they were altruistic in their attitude. It began a caring attitude that lasted for a few decades, but, sadly, has now been forgotten.

Nope - we control our borders hence we can do this - however by leaving the EU and not recognising there are 2 sides to every border one group will still be denied free movement - us. I mean what can we do? Tell them if we can't have FoM back we will stop allowing their citizens in to the UK and thus constrict our own economy still further? That'll show 'em.
Where do we start. This government know brexit is a complete shitshow without any advantages which is why we have received so many 'grace periods'.
The shit is about to hit the fan regarding imports in a few days.
'We got brexit done' hailed our sober and well groomed leader at their last conference for the brain dead.
Erm, no, we haven't, and it will be interesting to see how much blame they pass on to everything other than themselves as their lies and deceit catch up with us.
