It is a Palestinian saying/statement but it was never anti semitic but it does refer to their belief in a Palestinian homeland. It was never meant as a violent statement. Hamas adopted it, Patel prescribed Hamas as a terrorist organisation so now, perhaps backed into a corner, she has decided anyone using the phrase 'From the river to the sea', should be referred to the police for investigation !!!
That is just beyond words.
It reminded me of when the police fined a teenager for using the N word. He was actually singing along to a song on his phone.

The 'plan' is for asylum seekers and is a two tier system, for those who come here legally and those who don't. The problem is for most it is hard to get here legally.
With an explosion of households in Temporary Accommodation in Manchester in the last 5 years or so, it is a difficult one, limited resources and unlimited needs.

I wouldn't suggest its only down to us but the approach the all Europe is taking is wrong - its like deciding its better to carry on smoking and then deal with lung cancer when it arises when perhaps dealing with it at source - stopping the tabs - is the real answer

she just said in the HoC that we can't just open the borders to fleeing Ukrainians in case it causes a further security risk with undesirable Russians coming across with them - a concern to us 1500 miles away yet doesn't seem to be an issue with Poland, Hungary etc.......
Also they have spent years facilitating the arrival of undesirable Russians here masquerading as legit businessmen just so long as they paid for it.........
