Priti Vacant has a plan, a deal with migrants plan.

Yvette Cooper has ripped Vacant a new one.
Apparently Patel stated in the House that in a well publicised case a female pensioner Ukranian refugee Valentina Rumyantsyeva can now come to the UK having been turned back on Saturday.
The Home Office has since stated that this is not the case.
She's Vacant but she don't care!
Cooper was asking about an elderly Ukrainian woman that UK Border Force based at the Gare du Nord wouldn't let on a Eurostar to London. Cooper told Patel the case and asked, "Can she now travel to the UK?" "Yes", said Patel, then the Home Office said no.

Cooper's asked Patel to correct the record, and Hoyle is expecting her to come to the House to explain.

what ? you mean like her boss repeatedly refuses to do? If Hoyle does that after repeatedly and knowingly let Johnson get away with lying he soils the office of Speaker

She's correct, as are you with your second paragraph. The conversation should really be about whether we have a moral obligation to accept the very real risk of state agents ect concealing themselves among immigrant streams for the greater humanitarian good.
This is total bollox. Doesn't appear to bother anyone else. We allow relatives to come! Most are unaccompanied women and children. This is just an excuse for their inhumanity.

No, it's not total bollocks although you are correct in that most are genuine and I am talking about a tiny minority - a minority so tiny that we should perhaps accept the risk. Any inhumanity is probably just the govt not wanting to fritter away their money for the benefit of the poor and desperate - that's caring conservatives for you .

State agents is a complete excuse. Unfortunately, it's probably a vote winner and, therefore, the only reason she has said it. She's a walking Daily Mail headline.
