Fox have made Scott make 2 versions of the film, 12 and 18 rated as they are nervous that a $200M film wont make much money as an 18 rated film
For me this film MUST be an 18(or 15 at least) This has the potential to be Alien 3 all over again

Is the 12 the 3d version? Because they said with 3d they'd have to make scenes brighter and it won't look as good because of it.

I'm watching it in 2D if possible, 3D's crap.

well the trailer looks creepy, so if the film's like that at 12 it'll be a very tough watch in an 18 lol.

Fox are like that though, the problem with Alien 3 was the story fundamentally, if it had been done properly it would have been a lot closer to the first 2.

I urge you to watch Wreckage and Rage, The making of Alien 3, shows you how much interference Fox had on that film. They totally fucked Fincher over, the story was sound and Fincher had great ideas for it but Fox over-ruled him every single time, so much in fact that Fincher nearly walked out half way though shooting. He did finish the film but disowned after it was it came out. Even the cast interviews are damming of Fox and im very surprised Fox released this on the Blu-Ray DVD

As far as i know both versions are in 3D, they will just do colour grading after the film is finished to make the film look brighter

it'll be released in 2D as well, they'll just try and not tell you it is so that you pay more to watch a worse film with sunglasses on.

So so so excited about this! Out of all the trailers so far though, I've seen no actual aliens, hope to god they feature prominently.

1:38 has an alien, tho it looks like it may just be ornamental

Looks like whatever (space jockeys) found the aliens and humans left a map to get to their world and shit breaks loose between the 3 species.
