Prostate cancer

I`ve got an MRI scan next Monday, having already given a second blood test taken within the last 4 weeks, after the Consultant thought it best, as my reading had gone up from 6.7 to 8.1, which I didn`t think had risen too much due to my age.
However as she said, better safe than sorry and if the MRI scan shows anything then she wants to take a biopsy.
So legs up in the stirrup and the "cutter" up the anus. However I`m due to have a new hip fitted on 9th December and theres no way at the moment that I could raise my legs into the stirrup.
Just hopeful that alls well with the MRI scan and second blood test.
