Yet, they weren’t against Palace a week ago, when the season is just getting interesting with a winning run in. No it’s not that.Think @ corky was right , late rearrangements, schools holidays.If it had been a weekend game it would have been full. .

When an away club doesn't take up their full away allocation at the Etihad, and 1000+ tickets in the away end on SSL3 are sold to City fans instead, they sell out in a matter of days, with adult tickets costing £30. Not only that, if fans are fast enough they can get 2, 3, and 4 tickets together, so they can go as a family. I doubt very much that many of those 1000+ fans would go to the match if they had to pay £71 for a ticket.

True and it's a great initiative but obviously linked to what the away fans would pay if they took them up.

I would like nothing more than the new stand being competively priced for City fans, no S/T's just a selling window for members or whatever. Say £40 Adult £20 Junior, all league matches.

The rest of the Ground reopon to Season Tickets up to say 47k.

The reaction to the protests seem to be going well, all things considered. There is plenty of media attention and while there will always be social media bell ends mouthing off, there are also plenty of proper fans rising above the normal insults and seeing it for what it is.

Respect once again to the fan groups leading the way and everyone who is supporting it. More protests will hopefully put the club on the back foot and they may have to consider more concessions.

Hopefully Soriano will have to face some difficult questions from Khaldoon about a fanbase that is clearly disgruntled, despite all the success we’ve had in recent seasons- i.e. what the hell is going on?

You get what you pay for, right across the board, Football and all the Premier League clubs' prices are crazy
Winning titles and silverware mask the real problem: Greedy Players and Managers, Agents, like I said, all the clubs in the Premier League, the ticket prices are crazy, take United 14th, what value are their fans getting for the price of a ticket, same with the rest of the clubs and their fans,

There has to be a cliff edge, and you will fall off. Football can not keep on milking the fans.
Even Matchday Hospitality Corporate is fake and works only with successful clubs, The hunger for Champions League places is because of the fall from grace and the cost of what you have built. The loss of revenue for one missed season of Champions League football is the start.
 
Some right excuses being made on here maybe there was leaves on the train track so people couldn't get to the game
 
I'd like to think if i was a trillionaire I'd do more for the fans...but maybe that's why they are, and remain, so wealthy. To us it's an addiction, a passion, it's in the blood - to them it's a business and bottom line is king. Disappointing.
An opportunity to create something entirely unique is being lost to pure greed and traditional market forces.
Nobody expects anything for free - just some empathy and consideration.

You can never tell until the event happens, but I think the Wolves protest will be bigger on the concourses than the Leicester protest.

It would be fantastic if we could get between 10,000-15,000 fans to stay on the concourse for the 6 minute protest at the start of the Wolves game.

Double the previous figure which was anywhere between 6000 to 8000 fans apparently?
 
It’s a pity all fans from other clubs don’t adapt to this way of protesting instead of all slagging us off for empty seats because this effects all football fans no matter who you support more so when It’s Live surely the guys who are driving this can get in touch with the groups of other clubs and see if they agree. All standing together in solidarity is a better way forward and put are banter to one side for all future fans.

If the aim was to get bums on seats, I could understand to a degree. But it's not, it's all about getting the ticket back so they can sell at exorbitant prices or package the seat up with a corporate offering.

Why would you get a st if you can't do 10 games?
Why have st holders not got 3 fandf to transfer too?
Selling your tkt to just anybody is madness.
 
1894 just quoted on guardian football weekly podcast detailing the prices for the Villa game. It was a positive slot supportive of the fans.
Surprised to hear on there, but pleased the message is getting out there. Well done to the main instigators here and let's hope this escalates not just with City but with other clubs as well.
